Seoul International Music Competition

Turning the symbols of music into small physical objects.

Stage, voice and moments of music are held in a set of metal keyrings. The competition’s idea is translated into objects, then extended through movement and sound into a social campaign film.

Elements suggesting a vocalist, microphone and stage were combined into physical forms. Metal reflection, texture and object movement were carefully tuned, with sound composed around the rhythm of each scene.

A vocalist, microphone and stage become metal keyring forms, translating the impression of the competition into a small, tactile object.

Reflection, texture and keyring movement were refined in detail, with sound added to the rhythm of the sequence.
