Glossier — YOU LOOK GOOD. JUST BE YOURSELF.
An independent beauty film about self-expression, in which getting ready for a first date goes so far that the protagonist becomes a peacock.
Chameleon Studio · Independent concept
A 14-second beauty film with no product shot, turning the consequence of over-styling into a peacock reveal.
The film compresses the escalating preparations for a first date into fourteen seconds. A lock-screen message sets the scene; a rapid montage of foundation, eyeliner and blush accelerates the ritual; then a longer reveal makes it appear that the protagonist has become a peacock. No Glossier product appears. Instead of demonstrating use, the film expresses the brand attitude that more styling is not the condition for looking good, resolving with YOU LOOK GOOD. JUST BE YOURSELF.

No Glossier product on purpose
A recognizable product would shift the story toward what was applied. Generic color cosmetics remain in frame while Glossier enters only through the final attitude and line.
The peacock is the consequence of over-styling
The peacock is neither a date nor a decoration. It is the physical result of taking “a little more” to its extreme, making JUST BE YOURSELF the conclusion of the story rather than an isolated slogan.
A 14-second escalation
The first lock screen establishes the date, tight makeup close-ups repeat at speed, and a second notification shows time passing. The final seven seconds are reserved for the peacock to lift its head and open its feathers, allowing the image to register before it peaks.
Beautiful, strange and silent
The peacock is treated seriously and beautifully against a restrained setting and bright film palette. With no music or explanatory dialogue, the makeup tools, phone alerts, room and animal movement make the surreal transformation feel more tangible.
